And don't forget the importance of a personal appearance. The more residents who turn up on the night to demonstrate the fierce opposition there is to this and other plans, the more notice the Committee is likely to take of our protest.

You are right that a strong turnout would be beneficial to the cause to get this application rejected again.Looking at the recent council website postings we see that once again Councillor Parry staunchly supports the campaign and well done to him.Unfortunately once again we are let down by the hapless performance of the planning department with their recommendations to allow this proposal.I for one hope that the forthcoming local government cuts fall heavily on this group of useless *****.
ReplyDeleteWe can now only rely on our democratically appointed representatives at the committee and hope that they are as worthy of our votes as Councillor Parry seems to be.We shall soon see.
